There are times in our lives where we feel 100% sure that something is of God. We know without a doubt that this is part of His plan for us.
We pray that He waves the red flags if it is not, and no red flags are waved. We pray for clarification and confirmation and there is a deep sense of peace about the situation in our hearts.
I’m at this place right now in my life. Something I have prayed over for years, I see God slowly bringing to pass.
But one thing I think about is how for the 6 months before this blessing showed up, I was not in a place to receive such a blessing. I was putting myself in situations that God was not and could not bless. I was coming up with all kinds of justifications as to why I was doing it, until I became numb to the fact that it was not God’s best for me.
I think that’s how we do it. We like how it feels for the moment, when we know deep down that God has something better. We are very impatient creatures. And when we try to force “blessings” upon ourselves, we usually are not in a place for the real blessings from God to come.
But “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” James 1:17
God has GOOD and PERFECT gifts for us! And when we are ready for them, HE will reward us with them.
I have received many gifts over the past year, but this is by far my favorite and the one that God has hand picked just for me.
So readers… here he is… meet Corey… a man after God’s own heart… a man that is on fire for Jesus! A man that God has brought into my life to pray with, worship with and serve God with. Thank you Jesus for good and perfect gifts!

SO excited and happy for you, sweet friend of mine! 🙂 love you!!
