Yesterday I got a letter from Cindy saying I was radiant at church Sunday. And this morning, The Daily Light is Exodus 34:29, “Moses did not know that the skin of his face shone while he talked.”
Isn’t it amazing when the glory of the Lord shines among us? When His joy fills us to the brim and we don’t even realize that we are beaming from the inside out!
I was so blessed and so excited to be worshipping with my new church family, that nothing else mattered, except being in the Lord’s presence. I felt beautiful wearing a dress…but it was the beauty of the Lord that was upon me. “One thing I desire of the Lord, that I will seek after; that I may dwell in the House of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4). Of course I was beautiful…of course I was radiant… “we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2nd Corinthians 3:18). I have been transformed into the same image of our Lord…and He is beautiful…He is radiant!
Isaiah 61 says, “Arise, shine for your light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”
As we reflect the streams of light that pour from Jesus Christ. His glory and His light will shine through us and He will be glorified in our lives.
