TOTALLY UNEXPECTED

9-21-12

The coolest thing happened today during my intake.  The staff member that was giving out my paperwork asked me my religious preference.  I said Christian.  Then somehow we got talking about Christ and I got talking about how good He has been to me.  Then the conversation moved to how far God has me on this journey.  He said that He has brought him a long way as well.  We just kinda went into how good God is and the Holy Spirit just fell on the room.  My eyes got filled with tears.  He bowed his head and was just praising God, then I started  praising Him!  He got a little choked up.  It was a totally divine appointment!  The Holy Spirit showed up to let us know He is here in this building!  It is so amazing when He brings His children together as one.  It was totally unexpected…It is just like God to show up in the least expected places!  It took us a few minutes to realize we weren’t at a revival…we were filling out paperwork.

I am so thankful God showed me who my brother in Christ is.  He is only preparing to show me the blessings and wonderful people He’s bringing in my Life!  I praise you Father!  Have your way O Lord!  Have your way!

I too have shared your experience in more ways than one. Through it all God has manifested His will for my life. I call my BOP experience a period of wilderness wandering. It is in these times that we are stretched beyond our current reality into new dimensions. Discovering more about God and as a result more about who we are in relationship to Him and what we have through Him. On my own, I would never have chosen the path I’ve taken the last twelve years, but God knew my needs and greater still my potential. Hallelujah! Praise God for His darling Son, Jesus, the Christ for all that He has done for me and Randi. Yes, Randi is a part of my journey, because God has brought us together for a purpose. That purpose ultimately entails the glorification of God and the edification of each other through shared Christian experiences and indepth Biblical studies. Randi, your experiences mirror mine both in prison and in the VOA halfway house. Just remember the Great Shepard is leading and we can follow with confidence, knowing that He knows the beginning and ending of the path we both are now on. I look forward to sharing our common experiences with the Spirit on the journey. May the Spirit of the Lrd abound in your heart. Michael
