With all the time I’ve spent here, how was I to know?
As this chapter ends here, I’m not sure I want to go.
The feelings are so bittersweet, like a glass of lemonade.
God enriched my life through poor choices – poor choices I had made.
Bittersweet is so much more than a memory in the past.
Bittersweet is memories I pray will always last.
Bittersweet – bittersweet – bittersweet
Is the love I’ll always have – bittersweet.
I’m so ready to hold my loved ones in my arms.
So grateful for this time God has kept them all from harm.
Of all the work I’ve done here, the work that means the most
Is spreading the joy of His gospel, through praising our Holy Ghost.
Bittersweet is missing the people who’ve touched me here.
Bittersweet is knowing our Father keeps them near.
Bittersweet is part of living in spite of where we go.
Without the sour in our mouths – the sweet we’d never know.
