I built my house on sand and all was blown away.
Now I’m lost and homeless with nowhere to stay.
If I had listened to God’s Word, I’d be home right now.
I’m searching now to find the Rock. The flood won’t tear me down.
Lord I hear You. I need You so.
Lord I love You. I just don’t know
How You hold me up through all I’ve done.
Lord I hear You. Make my house a home.
I’m laying my foundation down, my walls sturdy and strong.
With Your Word and hearing You, the building won’t take long.
Make my heart Your tabernacle and fill me with Your light.
My house will be Your home and I’m gonna be alright.
Lord I hear You. I need You so.
Lord I love You. I just don’t know
How you hold me up through all I’ve done.
Lord I hear you. Make my house a home.
My house is built on solid rock.
The storm ain’t gonna stop me.
My house is build on solid rock
The sand ain’t gonna sink me.
Jesus is my solid Rock – on Your Word I will stand.
Jesus is my solid Rock – on Your Word I will stand.
“Whoever comes to Me and hears my saying, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built a house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded upon a rock. But he who hears, and does not, is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:47-49)
