Yesterday morning when we got to the chapel to pray, it reeked of cigarette smoke. Someone had just used the chapel bathroom to smoke.
I was furious! This has been going on since it got cold – but lately it has been every day. We know who it is because she left her cup sitting on the table. It is the same girl that I had a conversation with a month or 2 ago about being a leader in the church and straddling the fence. The words I spoke to her obviously didn’t stick, cause she continues to smoke in the chapel.
During our prayer circle, one of the girls prayed for the evil being done in the chapel and for Jesus to come and drive it all out just like He upturned the tables and drove the money changers from the temple!
And sure enough, later that day, the camp administrator was in the chapel – patting this girl down, looking for her contraband. God answered that prayer real quick! And hopefully it won’t happen in there anymore. Well – it can’t happen anymore cause the bathroom is now locked.
The problem about this place is that people get caught smoking all the time or stealing from the kitchen and they get a slap on the hand and that’s all. So of course they keep breaking the rules!
One thing I am thankful for is living in the RDAP dorm. We follow the rules. We are respectful of each other. We hold each other accountable because we care about each other. It is a huge difference from the other dorm, which has been compared to Sodom and Gomorrah.
Please pray for everything that happens over there. The contraband, the homosexuality, and the prejudices that are here at this prison.
There are so many wrongs being done. So many people hurting and lost.
But God is moving here! And there are many more miracles on the way!
