This morning our prayer group was different. Every morning we meet and we lift up our requests to God. But this morning, we were just lifting up praises. It’s like the burdens we’ve been praying over have been lifted and God just wants us to praise Him and thank Him.
Isaiah 35:24 says, “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
Surely that has come to pass, because that’s what we are experiencing right now!
It is amazing, the things God has in store for us. The blessings He has waiting for us. The path that He is already preparing for us. What is even more amazing is when He gives us glimpses of His plan.
Sometimes I wonder – what would I be like if I only had to serve 1 year instead of the 3 1/2 years that I have served?
I don’t think I would follow God’s leading or hear His voice. I wouldn’t have seen the miracles that I’ve seen or met the amazing people I’ve worshiped with. I think I would only have a kinda good life instead of life abundantly that I am living now. And If I can live abundantly in prison… I can only imagine life when I get out! For “every good and perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” (James 1:7)
