Every since my arrival at Carswell Federal Prison the Lord has held my attention on the Full Armor of God. Eph 6:10-20. I have spent hours upon hours in the Word learning as much as I can about getting dressed up!!! Every time I turn to that passage I get something new out of it. We are all well aware that every decision we make for Christ, Satan gets good and mad, and he intensifies the war that he has already waged with us. We are called to take this was as seriously as the Enemy of our Souls does.
One of the points about the Armor that was revealed to me recently is that when a soldier would put on his breastplate his back was usually still exposed. The answer to this is simple once I sat down and truly thought it through. I know that God would never leave us unequipped to face this weirdo. So what could the reason be? Then I realized it’s because we are to face him. We are called to stand against the wiles of the Devil, not to turn and run. We are called to fight!!!
I know my friends get tired of hearing me proclaim that I am the Warrior Princess!! We even have jokes about how cute I look in my outfit now that I have lost all of the weight, but seriously I urge you to study the Full Armor of God. Put it on and Glorify our God by standing with Him in the battle against the one who seeks to devour You!!! Remember when God wants to Bless you He sends People. When Satan wants to destroy you he sends people!!
I want to thank God tonight for one of the greatest Blessings of my life. Jacob my oldest son. Now you really are “my man”. I can’t believe that I am actually the mom of an adult. The Lord has recently brought some more blessings into my life and my families lives. He really is Amazing and the Blessings just keep pouring in Thank you God!!! Oh Merciful Savior. The Lover of My Soul!

@ Shannon-Jacob is truly a blessing in disguise. The Marines, I can’t believe it but knowing him, the background he came from and what your love and family has done for him and where he is going-it’s remarkable. You did a great job with him. I am proud to be his Aunt E.
I love and miss you.
