Randi – Relocated

Hello All,

Just wanted to let you know that Randi has been transferred to a women’s prison in Ft. Worth, TX. She is now at Carswell Federal Medical Center & happy to be there.  Well, as happy as she can be. I have talked with her twice since she got there and my mom was able to get a special visit on Saturday while she was in town. I hope to visit this week if they get me approved on the list.  Federal prison sounds like it is a lot better than her living conditions over the past year. I will let her tell you about it but I just wanted to give you an update!

Please pray for Randi as she gets acclimated to new people and new surroundings.

I am so excited to see my sister and hug her neck in the next few days!

That’s good news! I know this weekend was a busy time for your family. I am so thankful that now Randi is closer to some of the family. IF I could be of any help, let me know.

What great news! I’m a friend of randi’s from high school, and I am so happy to finally be able to send her a letter, and I was wondering if antone outside your family would be able to visit her anytime soon, or what we are able to send to her, like pictures, or care packages. Since I heard about randi in June, I have wanted to write to her, and to you to let you know what a positive impact she has had on my life. We were both teacher’s aides in the special ed class in high school, she introduced me to them actually… And it changed the course of my life forever. She was amazing with those kids in the life skills class, and i’m sure she would agree that was the best time of our young lives. She was s wonderful friend to me, and I want to be someone she can count on now. I know she needs it. I live in Austin, with my husband and two year old son, but I would love to see her whenever it’s possible. Until then, I hope that she knows how many people are thinking of her and following her story, and hope only the best for her. She has so many talents and such a zest for life, I know god has good things in store for her!! Thanks for creating this website, my father told me when he broke the news, that this site was a place to come and be uplifted, that he came away happy in a sense, after reading the words she wrote. She is a special person.

      Hey Alyssa,

Thanks so much for the touching message! I remember and I am sure Randi is going to be thrilled to hear from you. Yes, you can send letters and packages but I think I still need some details on the specs of the packages. I know she can get soft cover books and up to 20 pictures in a letter. I think she can also get journals but they have to be soft cover and not spiral bound. I updated her contact information on the contact page – so check it out for a new address.

Yes, she can have visitors other than family – she will be working on a list soon so email me your contact information so she can get you on the list – I am sure she would love to see you.

My email is ksmccallaghan AT hotmail (DOT) com

      Thanks!
