Sometimes there is just too much stuff involved for anyone to make a blanket statement that covers all. I can't help believe that God always wants us to turn to Him for help no matter what the cause. Divorce is not the unforgivable sin. But what I have seen from the ravages of divorce is unresolved hurt, anger and trust. How does anyone move forward in their own life if they carry hurt, anger and mistrust around? Life is hard enough without carrying those heavy things. That's why I think God wants us to try to mend things with his help. He wants us to forgive ....70 X 7 right? So for each person who may be facing this situation....they have to come to God and find their own answers. If we are bystanders, we need to offer up prayer on their behalf and allow them to work through it with God. Now I know that doesn't give you any clear definite answer....except one thing....it's in God's hands. God never makes a mistake.
